S3L System
The S3L System consists of two parts: sensors and instruments. Each S3L system must consist of only one Instrument. Alternatively, each sensor in a particular system can be connected to only one instrument. Analyze the two scenarios below:
Scenario 1: Two Instruments with One Dual Channel Sensor |
In Scenario 1 above, there is a DUAL channel sensor with separate serial number IDs that communicate with the instrument along the same wires. Commands can ONLY be given by S3L Instruments and sensors can only reply to these commands. Commands from multiple instruments are prohibited by the S3L system and will cause data corruption.
Scenario 2: Separate Instruments for Two Separate Single Channel Sensors |
If multiple displays are preferred, Scenario 2 demonstrates the typical method of using multiple instruments.
