Signet offers a wide selection of materials that may be mixed and matched to assemble a paddlewheel flow sensor best suited for any chemical application. These pins are compatible with both the Signet 515 and the Signet 2536 Paddlewheel Flow Sensors.
M1546-1 (Code 198 801 182): Titanium
One of the best metals for all-round chemical resistance and anti-corrosion properties. No grooves on this standard material selection
M1546-2 (Code 198 801 183): Hastelloy-C
One groove near one end of the pin indicates Hastelloy-C.
M1546-3 (Code 198 820 014): Tantalum
Two grooves, close to the centerline of the pin mark the Tantalum pin.
Also distinguished by its darker color.
M1546-4 (Code 198 820 015): 316 Stainless Steel
Two grooves spaced more widely identify the 316 stainless steel pin.
P51545 (Code 198 820 016): Alumina Ceramic
Inert to virtually every chemical encountered.
Users must be cautious about the brittle nature of these pins.
