The 2552 Magmeters listed above have an integral watertight connector and use a cable with a mating watertight connector. These cables are specified to meet NEMA 6P or IP68 standards for protection from moisture intrusion. These specifications do NOT suggest permanent submersion capability.
Signet recommends these magmeters for applications where the sensor may be submersed for up to 3 meters in depth, for no longer than 10 days continuous submersion.
After any length period of submersion, the threaded sensor assembly should be thoroughly rinsed to remove any deposits and debris that might damage the threads.
