How to Switch Channel Assignments in the 8900

Suppose you have two conductivity sensors connected to an 8900 System used in a Reverse Osmosis application. When configuring an 8900 system for the first time, the unit automatically assigns the sensors to the channels in the 8900 based on serial number. If there are two sensors of the same type, i.e., 2 conductivity sensors, then the sensor with the lowest serial number in reverse order will be assigned first. For example: If the first serial number is 61124050001 and the second serial number is 61225050009, then the first serial number will be assigned to channel 1. This is because in reverse order, the serial numbers are read as 10005042116 and 90005052216. The 8900 has a built-in feature that allows users to "Switch Sensors" without having to physically remove and install the sensors. Assume that "Channel 1 Type" and "Channel 2 Type" both are set to "Conductivity". Then, simply go to the "System Setup" Menu in the 8900 and navigate to the "Switch Sensors" menu item and switch the sensors to the desired assignments. Follow the step-by-step procedures below:
