Digital (S3L) and Dual Channel Conductivity Sensor Electronics
General

The new Dual Channel Conductivity Sensor Electronics allows users to connect 2 conductivity sensors to 1 set of sensor electronics. The cell constants for each sensor can be set by selecting a combination of DIP Switch settings. With a dual channel unit, channel 2 can also be toggled ON/OFF if required.  See the figure and tips below.

Tips
     • Pins 1, 2, and 3 on SW3 are used to select the appropriate cell constant for the sensor connected to channel 1.
See the table below for all valid combinations.  Setting the dip switches to any combination other than what is in
the table below, will cause the 8900 to display "Check Sensor".
     • Pin 4 on SW3 has no use for Digital (S3L) versions of the 2850 Sensor Electronics.
     • Pins 1, 2, and 3 on SW4 are used to select the appropriate cell constant for the sensor connected to channel 2.
See the table below for all valid combinations.  Setting the dip switches to any combination other than what is in
the table below, will cause the 8900 to display "Check Sensor".
     • Pin 4 on SW4 allows the user to turn channel 2 ON/OFF.  Turning the switch to the open position will turn
the channel OFF and the close position will turn the channel ON.  Any changes to Pin 4 are only recognized on
power-up only, which means that the power to the unit must be recycled if the change is made when the unit is
       already on.
